The Upper Peninsula Resource Conservation & Development (UP RC&D) Council is a non-profit conservation organization serving all 15 counties in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The purpose of the Council is to provide local leadership required for developing and carrying out a plan for the orderly conservation, improvement, development and wise use of the natural resources within the Upper Peninsula. The Council is led by a board of directors with representation from throughout the UP.


The Council meets quarterly, alternating meetings between the Council office in Sault Ste. Marie and teleconference meetings.  All meetings take place at 10 am (Eastern time) unless otherwise specified.
